About Investrade

Investrade was created in 1997 for self-directed investors who wanted more control over their own decisions. It is a division of Regal Securities, a Chicago-area brokerage founded in 1977 and based in Glenview, Illinois. Investrade takes unsolicited orders only and does not make investment recommendations.

It offers stocks, ETFs, options, mutual funds and fixed income from one account. There are three ways to trade: the Investor platform for long-term investing, the Pro platform for active trading, and a direct connection to TradingView charts, along with mobile apps for iPhone and Android. Stock and ETF trades are $0 commission, options have no base fee, and there is no minimum to open an account. You can open a demo account to try the platforms first.

Investrade's pitch is zero-commission pricing from a small firm with people you can reach. It advertises live support from US-based staff for more than 10 hours a day, with an average response time under 30 seconds, and it runs a full-service bond desk. Its Knowledge Center has tutorials, market analysis and webinars. It does not have the banking, advisory or retirement-planning services that the large brokers offer.
